Library Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives (VMGO)

Vision-Mission:

“To be a center that promotes reading and lifelong learning to enrich Samal Island’s academic and community life”

Goals and Objectives:

        ·  To harmonize and support the academic programs of Samal Island City College.

        ·  To provide online educational links and printed library resources as required by the 

            curricular offerings of the college.

        ·  To stimulate and encourage the habit of good reading to foster lifelong learning.

        ·  To provide information literacy programs on the proper use of the different library 

            resources.

        ·  To organize library resources for effective and efficient use.

        ·  To be a venue where library users work productively with ideas.
