Library General Rules and Regulations

Proper Conduct inside the Library

1.   Idle conversation, loud laughter, and other unnecessary noise that can disturb the clientele must be avoided. Talking out of necessity must be done in subdued tones.

2.    Food and drinks, including covered beverages, are not allowed inside the library.

3.    Eating, smoking/vaping, sleeping, and playing online games are not allowed inside the library.

4.   Cellular phones, laptops, and music players are permitted in the SICC Library; however, these must be switched to silent mode and must not disturb other library users.

5.    Urgent phone calls should be made outside the library.

6.   Courtesy must be practiced in the library, especially when borrowing or returning books and other materials.

7.   The library violators shall be referred to the Office of Students’ Affairs for disciplinary action.

8.  The SICC library is a place for study and research. Your cooperation to maintain a quiet, orderly, and clean environment is very much appreciated.
